We plan and design with evidence.
Consilio is a Planning, Spatial Consulting, Architecture and Design practice. Before we draw, we measure how a place works: how people move, where activity gathers and what the land can carry. The plans and buildings that follow are grounded in that evidence.
Behind this text: one of our street-network analyses. Every road is coloured by how much of the town's movement is likely to pass along it. Red roads carry the most passing movement, so that is where a shop front, a mall or a gate will be seen most.
What we do
Planning, Spatial Consulting, Architecture and Design under one roof.
Most practices offer one of these. We offer them together, so the evidence gathered at the start carries through to the master plan and into the building.
We gather data to understand a place, then use analysis to reveal its opportunities.
- Site suitability and land yield studies
- Street network analysis (space syntax)
- Catchment analysis
- Visibility analysis
- User and foot traffic studies
- Context and historic urban research
- Sustainability (EDGE, BERDE)
We plan efficient, flexible developments that stay accessible, vibrant and healthy.
- Real estate strategy, highest-and-best use and test-fit studies
- Mixed-use townships and districts
- Industrial estates
- Hillside, agri and eco developments
- Waterfront and reclamation
- Campuses and resorts
- Residential subdivisions
- Design guidelines and deeds of restrictions
We design buildings with functional and operational clarity, and we uphold quality through construction.
- Mixed-use commercial buildings
- Bespoke buildings: manufacturing, offices, laboratories, warehousing, food service
- Institutional: education, healthcare, worship, student housing
- Entertainment and sports facilities
- Residential condominiums and amenities
- Resort villas and hotels
- Private residences
How the three connect
One site, followed from analysis to building.
A client asked us to turn a 25.9-hectare site in Pampanga into a complete industrial township. The same team read the roads, planned the estate and designed its first buildings.

Read the network
We mapped how the roads around the site carry movement. The analysis showed which frontage gets the most passing movement and is seen by the most people.

Plan the estate
The concept master plan sets the headquarters office and main gate on the main road frontage, with the expanded plant, locator lots and staff housing behind.

Design the buildings
Phase 1 schematic design covers the headquarters office, the main gate and the staff housing, so the buildings follow the logic of the plan.
Selected work
Master plans, studies and buildings across the Philippines.
The studio
We are architects, planners, analysts, managers, coordinators and researchers.
A studio led by two directors trained in London and Singapore, working with a network of partner practices so a project can be staffed from the first study to the last site inspection.
Meet the team →Research & tools
We build and publish the methods we use.
Tool
PlaceWright
A field instrument for site visits: walks, punchlists, markups and site baselines, working offline on iPhone, iPad and Android.
Research
Why the city's business centres sit along EDSA
A spatial-historical study of how the city's business districts formed, and why they are hard to walk.
Tool
SpaceSyntaxApp
Space syntax analysis on a phone: drop a pin, and see which streets carry the most movement and which are easiest to reach.
Start a conversation
Bring us a site. We will tell you what the evidence says.
We will say plainly what we can measure, what we can plan and what we can build.
